February Favorites!

Apple & Eve 100% Apple Juice ($1.50)
I know last month I had Minute Maid Apple Juice boxes as my favorite and hands down that still is my absolute favorite, but lately I've just been so obsessed with apple juice! This brand is really delicious and not too sweet or sour. I literally just came home from work and bought four 16 ounce bottles!

Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub ($6.47)
I got a free sample of this in my most recent Seventeen Magazine and I absolutely loved it! They've come out with a whole new line of products with Charcoal and its so fantastic. It leaves my leave feeling super fresh and its a great pick me up in the morning when I need to get ready for my 8 AMs. Biore also has a cleanser, a one minute heating mask, and new nose strips that are part of the Charcoal line. It's sort of like a white thick cream with blue beads that help scrub away the dead skin cells. I've noticed a lot of my scars have lightened up a little after scrubbing away all of that crappy skin. It doesn't have a harsh smell that makes you gag either. Biore is definitely on top of their game with this new line! If you're thinking about trying it, Seventeen has a $3 off coupon in their magazine so if its worth it to you to pick up a copy and try it out definitely jump on it now!

E.L.F Zit Zapper ($1)
THIS IS THE HOLY GRAIL OF ZIT ZAPPING MIRACLES! I just recently started trying this product and its AMAZING!!! It has a roller applicator for easy application and it makes it mess free. I put this on overnight on a couple a big red sore pimples and in the morning they were less red and way less swollen! I was so amazing. It made it so much easier to cover them up with make up in the morning. I couldn't believe that it worked that well over night. I read a couple of reviews online that said its best to reapply throughout the day so I might go out and pick up another for my bag so I can apply whenever I feel the need. I think its a really great product for only $1. What I like most about the product is the Tea Tree ingredient. I've used Tea Tree on my eczema before and it really helped clear it up so I know its a really awesome ingredient to have in something called a zit zapper haha. I HIGHLY recommend you go out and pick up this item and give it a try if you have an issue with big sore pimples. It's the miracle worker we've all been looking for!

KISS Acrylic Nail Set ($15.99)
I bought this set because I'm really tired of spending $30-$40 on a full set and then another $15 every month to fill them in and get them repainted. I'm one of those people who likes to change their nail polish about every three days, so it's really frustrating when I have to spend all that money if I want acrylic nails. I watched tons of YouTube videos on how to apply them and I gave it a shot but it came out pretty terrible. I'm definitely going to keep practicing. I think its worth it to learn and save a lot of money. You can even charge your friends to do theirs once you get really good at it! This set includes nail file, brush, acrylic powders, acrylic primer, acrylic liquid, 20 square nail tips, and nail glue. I think for all the things that are included its definitely worth the price. I also purchased a case of 100 square nail tips since I figure I'll be using it a lot for practice. Just beware of the smell! I didn't realize how terrible and strong it would be and I did this in an enclosed room! Make sure when you're applying the acrylic to open all of your windows and have the air circulating around you.

White Citrus Fragrance Mist
I don't normally like Bath and Body Works mists but I got this as a Christmas present and I absolutely love it. It's really light smelling but it stays on all day like other perfumes. I mostly wear it to school since its light and airy. I will definitely be taking a trip to Bath and Body Works to rethink purchasing other mists to add to my collection.

January Favorites!

Not Your Mothers Beach Babe Texturizing Hair Cream
As everything knows I absolutely LOVE Not Your Mothers hair products. Especially their shampoo and conditioner. I use this as a curl cream because the texturizing aspect of it holds my curls but doesn't give it that sticky hardened feeling of actual curl creams. It smells delicious too which is always a plus in my book.

You can find Not Your Mothers products at any Ulta store

Minute Maid Apple Juice
I've been obsessing over this apple juice for a month now. I love it. It's delicious. It's healthy. Need I explain anymore?!

You can find this product at any grocery store

It's A 10 Miracle Leave-in Plus Keratin
I've used so many different leave in conditioners but this one has got to be the best so far. It's a little on the expensive side but the way I looked at it was, this products acts as a defrizzent, heat protectant, uv protectant, and so much more. So instead of buying separate products which would add up to the same amount but also add more clutter to my already cluttered room, I just bought one product that does it all. It really does leave me hair feeling softer and less frizzy.

You can find this product at any Target or Walmart store

Carousel Necklace
My best friend literally JUST gave me this necklace earlier today and I'm in LOOOOOOOVE with it! It's probably my favorite piece of jewelry besides my irish locket. I can't wait to wear it tomorrow!

Holiday Nails & November Favorites!

Browsing through pintrest I found this awesome design on candy cane nails. It's only been about a day that I've had them painted like this and I've already received numerous compliments!

October Favorites!

This month is all about Not Your Mothers line! In stead of going into each individual product like I usually do I'm just going to talk about the line since they are all from the same brand. The shampoo and conditioner are really great and I especially love that it's sulfate free! I've tried garlic shampoo in helping my hair from falling out but it dried out my hair so much so I tried this stuff and it's very moisturizing and smells way better. I also love that its safe to use daily unlike most shampoos that help to grow hair which are only safe to use twice a week. The Kinky Moves curling cream is really great when I want to wear my hair natural. It defines my curls and smells like grapes. The only down side is that it's very sticky so you want to make sure you use very little otherwise it'll leave a crunch to your curls. The Beach Babe texturizing cream is perfect when I set my hair night to wake up with waves. It gives my hair the perfect amount of texture to hold the waves all day whether they're braided waves or twisted waves.

There are more products to this line I haven't gotten around to trying yet. This line also has a heat protectant, hair spray, dry shampoo, smoothing cream, shine spray, beach spray, and texturizing powder. I definitely recommend you run out to the nearest store and pick up these products. They're super cheap but so amazing!

Nutragena Wave
I bought this product because I felt like I wasn't really getting my skin clean at night after wearing makeup all day long. It's actually really great and leaves me skin very soft and fresh feeling after use. I even got my boyfriend into using this. Theres different pads that you can buy depending on what kind of clean you want. So far I've only used the regular pads that the device came with, but I'm heading out to Walmart tomorrow to pick up some more. I'd definitely give this a try if you feel like you're regular soap just isn't cutting it

September Favorites

Pumpkin Caramel Latte Candle
I absolutely love when Bath and Body Works brings out their autumn candles! They're my favorite and this year they have a bunch of new scents. I remember one called Pumpkin Patch and another was called Leaves I believe. This one was my absolute favorite and I never really buy the candles unless they're on sale but this just smelled so delicious I couldn't resist. I'm very big on  burning a candle every day, it relieves a lot of anxieties that I feel and this candle is perfect for the job!

bhcosmetics 120 Color Palette

I went to my friends house about a month ago and I saw she had this 180 tropical color palette and I started playing with it. I really liked the quality of the makeup so I figured I'd go onto their website and check out what other kinds of stuff they had. OMG they must have 20-30 different palettes from nude to tropical to matte. The 120 color palette I have is the second edition and I believe there's about 3 or 4 editions of this palette. The best part about this, it only cost $20 for all of these colors and the quality is really great!

Beyond Belief Refresh and Refine Pore Purifying Mask
So I've been really obsessed with face masks lately and I found this one at Sally's Beauty Supply so I figured I'd give it a try. It works wonders for sure. After I use this my skin feels very fresh and clean and I also feel like my pores are a little tighter. I love coming home from a long day at school or work and putting on this face mask to help me unwind. The green tea and fruit botanicals are really great for you skin and definitely feel you feeling completely refreshed after a long day of stress.

Perfumania Travel Size Bottle
I have a friend who works at Perfumania and she suggested that I buy this little travel size case for like $10 and what they do is fill it with whatever perfume you want and when you run out you just keep coming back and refilling it. The best part if you always get to pick a different perfume so you never have to pay $50-$150 on one single perfume that you might get tired of down the road. The refill costs only $10 each time and the bottle holds about 60 sprays of perfume so it should last a while. It's definitely my favorite thing to keep in my bag now!

August Favorites!

This month favorites is a mix between electronics, food, and beauty products haha. I've been way busy this month getting ready for school that I discovered quite a few non beauty products that make me very happy (:

TRESemme Keratin Smooth Keratin Infusing Smoothing Serum
This stuff is so great! I usually use it when I have a free day to do nothing and have no reason to blast my hair with heat or other styling products. Its a great way to relax my hair keep it smooth when its natural. I also love that I only have to use one pump for all of my hair! Products that require 3-5 pumps are just not worth it. You run out way too fast and spend more money than you really need to. One pump of this stuff is great and spreads very easily getting full coverage!

HASK Argan Oil Healing Shine Treatment
This little vial contains the most precious oil in the entire world! Argan oil is so great for your hair and I'm often recommending this product to a lot of my customers. Its great in wet or dry hair, but I usually apply it to dry hair after I've styled it. I love when I wand my hair and use it afterwards to tame some of the frizz. It makes the curls seem a lot more defined and I absolutely love that. The best thing about this product is you literally use a drop a day. I know this little vial seems like nothing, but It's lasted me a month already and I'm no where near empty! Keep in mind I use it every day and the vial itself cost $1!

Nutella 2 Go
I love Nutella! This little snack gets me through a lot of days. Just about every time I go to Wal-Mart I pick up a package for myself. It's a really great dessert and not that bad for you either!

Ecotools Makeup Brushes
I have finally found the perfect makeup brushes! I kept buying really cheap really crappy brushes that made my face itch and didn't spread the product every well either. This was just about the only cheap brand I haven't tried yet so I figured I'd give it a shot and OMG! The bristles are so soft and apply the product so smoothly! I also love that its made out of recycled and organic elements! I definitely recommend picking up a pack of these brushes!

Nexus 10 Tablet
I recently bought this tablet for school so I don't have to carry around my huge heavy laptop on campus. I really love this tablet! It's by google so it has google play and thousands of ways you can customize it unlike apple products which is a really big selling point for me. The screen is great and super clear. I seriously haven't been able to put it down for days haha

July Favorites!

Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Touchable
I've been looking for a hairspray that really does the job without all the stickiness and hard feeling hair. I must have bought like 500 different types of hairspray and I FINALLY just found one that's absolutely amazing! It holds my style great but doesn't feel hard or leave any sticky residue on the hair or hands! It's definitely something I would look into if I were you. It also has argan oil in its ingredients so its like a treatment and hairspray in one! I absolutely love this product and am so glad I found it (:

I bought this 9 oz can for $16.59
You can also find this product at the following places Ulta and JcPenny

Hask Placenta plus Olive Oil Leave In Spray
This product is absolutely AMAZING! If you have dried out extremely damaged hair you definitely want this product. I know the name kind of throws you off a little bit, like who wants to put placenta in their hair! But its totally worth it! The olive oil really gets in and conditions your hair leaving it so soft and shiny! It has a great smell too. This is already my second bottle. I swear by this stuff and tell all of my customers about this product and how great it is. I even bought a couple bottles to share with my family because I love it that much haha.

I bought this 5 oz bottle for $4.49
You can also find this product at the following places Texas Beauty Supply and My House of Beauty

TRESemme Freshstart Dry Shampoo Strengthening Formula
Dry shampoo is another product I must have bought dozens of. Every dry shampoo I've ever tried left a gross white powder residue in my hair or knotted up my hair when I sprayed it in that I couldn't even get a comb through it. I thought I just couldn't just any dry shampoos until I came across this one and thought I'd give it a try. I had been spending larger lumps of money on expensive dry shampoos and it turns out the cheapest of them all works the best! This product doesn't have the powder residue or knots my hair. It's really great for skipping washes or if you're running late and need a quick pick me up for your hair.

I bought this 5.7 oz can for $6.99
You can also find this product at the following places WalmartTarget, and Beauty Brite

NYX Single Eyeshadow in Gold Glimmer
We put these on sale at work for 99 cents because the color has been discontinued from the company so I figured I'd try it out for a $1. I really love the color and I have been wearing it every day since I bought it. It's really subtle and totally cute for dressing up or down. What I love about nyx shadows is how smooth they go on with brushes. You don't have to wet it and it's really spreadable and creamy.

Since I bought this on sale and the color is discontinued I will not post any links where you can find this color, but if you are interested in other nyx products visit their website!

The Help by Kathryn Stockett
I know this book was like really big a year or two ago and I'm really late about it, but I was at a thrift store the other day and I usually go there to visit the book section. They always have these great classes books there for like $1-$3. While I was there I came across this one and I figured since I saw the movie and everyone raved about this book that I would give it a try. I'm not far into it yet but so far I really like what I've been reading. It's really interesting and kind of funny at some parts. It's a great read so far and I hope it only gets better!

June Favorites!

Organix Argan Oil & Shea Butter Curl Enhancing Yogurt
Since my hair is gainging its natural curl back I've been on the lookout for some really great curl products when I came across this. I know Argan Oil and Shea Butter is really great for your hair so I figured I'd give it a shot. It really helps bring out the natural curl and define them! Plus it smells really great. The texture is very creamy and definitely helps with the frizzing that comes with naturally curly hair.

I bought this 8 oz jar for $8.86
You can also find this product at the following places, Wal-MartUlta.com, and Walgreens

Biosilk Silk Therapy 17 Miracle Leave-in Conditioner
This product is perfect for prepping hair to do anything. I usually use this before heat styling my hair because it doubles up as a heat protectant. Its a spray so I feel like its way easier to evenly distribute it on your hair. I just love the way this makes my hair feel and how I can use it to do so many different things. On the back of the bottle is a list of the 17 different benefits you get from using this product. It's really just great.

I bought this 5.64 oz bottle for $17.76
You can also find this product at the following places, Ulta.comFarouk, and Beauty Store Depot

Hask Henna 'n' Placenta Masque
This is by far the BEST deep conditioning treatment EVER! It's so hydrating. My hair feels so amazing right after and it lasts for days! It's definitely something I would try if you have really damaged hair. I use the super strength one because I have naturally curly hair and it tends be dry often. I just apply the masque after shampooing and leave it on for about 10-15 minutes with a warm towel wrapped around my head.

I bought this 2 oz packet for $1.49
You can also find this product at the following places, Walgreens and Wal-Mart

Wild Berry Vanilla Perfume
I love this scent! It's so sweet and light, its totally great for the summer! The only down side is it comes in such a small bottle I go through it so fast! This scent is just so me this summer!

I can't tell you where I got it or how much I got it for. My boyfriend just surprises me with a new bottle every time I run out and I've never been able to find it online! He's got some sort of secret supplier haha

Clinique High Definition Lashes
What I like about this mascara is that the brush is great for getting those long defined lashes. One side is a comb to help evenly distribute the mascara and make the lashes appear longer by separating them and the other side is a regular mascara brush to apply a thicker coat of it to make them look fuller. I really like how defined it makes my lashes look. It's great for subtle makeup and glam makeup looks!

I got this as a free product from a $25 and over purchase I made
But you can find this product at Macys

My Favorites: FOOD!

Crepes! You can never go wrong with a deliciously sweet crepe! Recently a mall a couple minutes away from my town opened up a small stand in the food court called Mr. Waffle. They have a bunch of specialty crepes and like waffle sandwiches with ice cream. I haven't tried the waffle orders yet, but their crepes are perfect! The one showcased in the photo was a banana nutella crepe with cheesecake bites and powdered sugar with chocolate syrup on top. It was absolutely delicious! Along with those toppings you can get nuts, m&m's, strawberries. Tons of different things. Definitely one of my favorite desserts.
MMMMM! My mouth waters just looking at this slice of pizza! I had never tried it before until a couple nights ago on our way home from Daniel's school. I didn't quite catch the name of it, but its pretty much a thick dough with chopped up tomatoes and onions on top with some oregano and parsley with two little circles of cheese. If you happen to know the name of this pizza PLEASE let me know! I'd love to order a whole pie of it!
Sushi anyone? (: This was actually what I had for dinner last night with a couple of friends from work. We went over to a buffet called Sushi Palace where you pay around $20 for an all you can eat sushi buffet. Theres a couple different rolls shown in the photo. We've got california rolls, eel avocado, mango, sweet potato  and tempura. I know a lot of people put sushi down, but its something you have to try before you can say you absolutely hate it.
